Yup. Have a word with support, JB, if the IP is being blocked they may be able to fix it.

Rik

Do you use OpenDNS or IDNet's DNS, Bob?

I've had a word with support, JB. It looks like they are blocking a range of IDNet's IP addresses, we are both in that range, Bob is in a different one.

They suggest dropping the firm an email as ask them to lift the block, they are unable to do it for sites, only mail servers.

It's the 91.xxx range that's affected, Ray, the 212.xxx works.

Many thanks for the info Rik. It's just a mail order site for cheap (legal) CD's and DVD's based in Singapore I think. There are several others so I won't spend the time persuing it just now.

Cheers.

I'm surprised Dorset hasn't chipped in yet and suggested using a proxy such as http://www.hidemyass.comHide My Ass, only thing is they may check the iP location when doing the psyment card authorisation and decline it because its a UK card apparently being used from a non-UK IP.

Yes, I do use 'hidemyass' for some browsing but you are right about trying to make payment using it. The last time I used that proxy it's IP resolved to New York.

Ahem. Define "legal" ;)
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
