another chance for Idnet to excel, they can then advertise that they pass all traffic at high speed.

While IDNet may not throttle traffic within its network, an ISP's control extends only to its network boundaries so as we know only too well so if BT, or one of its transit or peering partners decided to introduce a tiered service, other than pay more or change there would be nothing that IDNet could do.

I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Think they have agreements with companies such as Intel that stipulate that the CPUs have to operate 6 degrees higher than the maximum indicated in the spec so that they can reduce the cooling required.

Interesting how they provide employees with ear defenders, I used to be one of the folk that was responsible for out of hours server monitoring and support where I work and we were never offered ear defenders although we used to only spend about 10 minutes at a time in the server room as it was mainly reboots.

Am no longer responsible for that but the apps are moe stable now anyway so it crashes much much less.
