Take a look at Windows7. When I installed on a new hard drive and hardware recently, the updates were over 2gb before I even started doing anything

It's how game patches work these days...hence download after 12am

If the patch has to be that size, maybe they should have checked the original code a little more closely.

Saying that I always wondered why you need an explorer for Windows, they are pretty easy to negotiate as they are transparent and generally just have a handle
