My sync has gone up from 2720 - 3392kbs on a reboot to fit a pair of homeplugs http://www.ebuyer.com/product/179960 I'm getting 196Mps throughput with them too  ;D

I may even buy a couple more, then rip out the cabling I have in the house.

Did your noise margin drop?

Rik

Why on earth would they affect sync?

It should be 9db (my line produces too many errors to hold 6db normally), but it has connected at 6db, the same as it was for the previous sync.

I don't for one minute think they have, Rik. It was just the reason why I had to reboot the router.

Perhaps they are sucking all the noise out of the line!
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Someone re-charged the batteries at the exchange. ;)

Speaking about exchanges... If Talk Talk are installed in my local exchange now, could that lessen the congestion on the BT side of things? I feel sorry benefiting from everyone else's bad decision to go to talk talk.

It could I suppose unless BT reduce their own capacity.
