According to my router I'm still connected but I can't access any sites as of about 15 minutes ago. I've rebooted the router twice with the same result, and now have it unplugged to try that. Everything was fine until 15 mins ago too, connected at nearly 14mb since I had that noise issue a few weeks ago that went away!

Yeah.

My router did exactly the same, stayed "connected" or so it thought but red light was on and no internet.

Down for about 15 mins.  All OK again now though.

Gary

Same here, just got back on.

Hi.

I had the same thing occur.  I have no alternative way of connecting to the internet when it goes down, but obviously it's come back up now because I am posting!!  It went down just after 9.30am, and has just returned.  Hope it stays that way!  I think (going by the live feed) there was some work going on??

Glad my wife didn't want to use the computer just yet, she just wants to turn it on and go straight online.  She gets quite aggravated when it doesn't work just like a TV. ;D

do you think that will be it for today then.

Rik

There will be some anomalies until about 3, Baz, but hopefully, there won't be another total outage unless they have to reboot a router again.

what were they doing as some sites that were 'hanging' for me now seem ok    :dunno:  unless its all in the mind as I know something has been done  :D

Rik

They're replacing core routers (to meet customer growth) and one had to be re-booted after it went live.

They did mention some routing anomalies, I found a few USA sites very slow

Nice to see things being kept ahead of the game, Rik. It may be a placebo effect but things do feel more nippy  :dunno:

IDNet have always tried to provide the network before they need it, if you know what I mean, Gary. :)
