I've also seen an increase in ping times since the upgrade.. around 5ms.. I used to ping around 13ms but its around 17-18ms now with an extra hop.

tracert www.idnet.net normally gave 6 hops, I now get 7.

Routing seems faulty again!
Here are some examples of sites I am unable to reach at present:

http://www.independent.co.uk/

One of the resolvers is acting up - it's being worked on. More news as I get it.

If the work is on 21CN, then it shouldn't affect those on Max, correct?

Unless you're on IPStream connect, I think.

So, anyone who's connection has been profiled to act as a Max connection, they may see a loss of service, along with other ADSL2+ users?

That's it, as I understand it, Glenn, plus those on Max but connected via IPStream Connect, so that's anyone at an enabled exchange who hasn't upgraded.

See the link above.

Sorry but was not a reslover issue, assuming you mean DNS.

tried the iDNet ones, OpenDNS and google, all the same, looks more like a routing issue to me.

Cheers

Those that can are fixing, those that can are answering the phone and one person is swanning around Egypt. Hi and welcome to the forum at one of our bedlam moments. :welc: :karma:

It was initially blamed on a resolver, due to events over the weekend, but on examining the logs, it's an external routing issue, apparently. Blame rolling 24 hour news trying to keep people in the loop.
