Can't believe I cannot log into my router.  I have done so many time over the past few days.

Basically I type my IP address into the address bar on internet explorer and it comes up with a little box in which I type my username given to me by IDNet.  Then it asks for my passwork which IDNet gave me, then it says:

Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection).

And won't let me in.  Am I going mad???

Sounds like you were typing in your connection credentials rather than your router's admin credentials. ;D

We've all done it - well, those with any hair left at least. ;D

Seems I was trying to log into IDNet's static IP address.  Thank goodness it didn't let me in!!
