Managed to get another speedtest to run-

34970Kbps down, 7912Kbps up.

That's more like it ;D

Just checked in on my router remotely, lost about 35Kbps, was 2912 and now 2880.

I lost sync momentarily about an hour ago, is this likely to be related?  Seems I resynced at the same speed as before so no harm done.

Loss of PPP when BT take something out to mess about with it.

Packet loss has cleared up here as others mentioned.

Any of BT's stuff that isn't broke is so old it needs upgrading, or is so old that it is broke... or is broke because they upgraded it because it was so old.. argh, my head.
