Phone hassle?

Often I see the warning that transferring my phone line away from BT could result is hassle if I wish to change ISP later but I cannot find out what the hassle will be. Can someone enlighten me please.

The only possible hassle is if you move from BT to a LLU supplier.

I agree, you'd certainly have no hassle leaving IDNet but keeping your phone line with them. In fact, you never really leave BT at all, you only pay your bill to IDNet.

An example of this is Mitch, BB with Zen, phone with IDNet.
