help needed : accessing facebook apps via a mobile?

Does anyone do this? I got ok a few weeks ago but now it won't work.

I get the app up and it wants me to login to Facebook. But it won't log me in.

I know the e mail and password are correct for Facebook cos i used them recently on a new browser install and my new netbook to login into Facebook.

Ideas anyone please?

Is there a way of reinstalling the app?

I think you need to go through the Facebook help pages,I don't use facebook but did find that in certain situations the mobile account is compromised and can only be rectified by PC log in. This is just one example , it may be worth clearing cookies and cache on the phone

You can't get to apps on the Facebook page on a mobile that I have found?

Isn't the app pre-installed on the phone?  In that case, the only way to reinstall it would be to reinstall the phone ROM, which seems a bit extreme.  I don't use Facebook, or the Desire, but it might be worth looking on the Xda-Developers forum.

Somehow I suspect that mobile access is either not working or you've been locked out for some reason.

Cleared cache etc and passwords. Logged back into Facebook on its own fine.

But the app is accessed via apps.Facebook.com/kingdomsofcamelot and won't let me logon to Facebook with my password and run the app. /sigh.
