The wireless died on one of my 2700s, and another didn't work from the off, but I now think that was the PSU, as it just had the red light on.  I have another 'new' 2700, and an old DG834G spare.

Sorry to hijack this but since we're talking about 2700s....  Has anyone any experience of one with V5 firmware automatically updating to V6 and are there any ways to prevent this?  I've turned off remote management.

I only got mine Friday (v5.***) but by Saturday morning it was V6, apparently you have to do something called DNS poisoning but from what I hear even that may not stop it.

V6 seems ok to me though.

I think it's only certain v5s that have auto updated, and mine, 5.29.107.19, has so far escaped it.  It's a long thread to read through, but you might find some more info here.
