£5 per month with vodafone for pretty much unlimited internet access! Only got an LG Viewty. Does the job though!

I get free calls, but somehow I have in mind that 0845 calls have a per minute charge.

Using USB tethering on a 'rooted' HTC Magic here.
Got choice of tether via wireless, bluetooth or USB ('Cyanogenmod' is pretty aweseome!)

Here I don't get a 3G signal so speed is kinda poor, but in an area with 3G coverage the speed and latency is relatively good.

0845's are charged at local rate but if you have a tarrif with BT (evening/weekend free calls) then I believe that 0845 are included. Not sure about data calls though. The only problem is that there is a 60 minute limit per call. For every minute you go over the hour, you will be charged. That's how I believe it works. Maybe someone can back me up on this?

Wait a minute -- I switched my phone line to IDnet a little while back.

Wonder if I'll get charged for their 0845 number when my IDnet internet connection goes out?

Nearly as good as the IDNet connection but the phone gets a bit hot after a while!

Couldn't have happened at a worse time. Not only is my line undergoing a successful reset to solve a problem but I was denied access to ebay where I missed out on an important item I was bidding on.

Went down here just after 7pm kibworth exchange Leicestershire. Router synched at 7616 no ip addy and reads chap authentication failed.
Is this a major problem then guys?
Thank god i got a new android mobi on which i posted this albeit a little slow though.

No there are two seperate routers (both plugged into the same power socket and somebody's kicked the plug out)
