Three - Improved nework coverage

Their customer service may leave a lot to be desired, but they have improved the network coverage.

Mobile operator Three UK marked the completion of its massive three-year long network upgrade today as it connected its 12,400th 3G site.

The upgrade and improvement programme, which has seen Three's 3G network grow from an already market-leading 7,500 sites to 12,400, has brought new coverage to rural areas and added crucial capacity to cities.

3G population coverage across the UK is now close to 97%. Three's customers are able to make calls, send texts and connect to high-speed mobile broadband throughout the country from Lands End to the Shetland Islands.

Hmmmm, I'll wait to see the independent tests but from I've read and heard from those I know that have had dealings with them it wouldn't be enough to make me switch to them ever.

If you use T-Mobile or Orange, then you maybe using the network without knowing it.

Network coverage is fine, but having poor strength means it's pretty useless. That being said, they're better than Vodafone in Wrexham

I've only ever used One2One/T-mobile, Virgin (T-mobile based of course) and O2.

O2 are by far the best coverage wise although 3G is not great but customer service has always been good.
