The end of bluetooth?

Well, maybe not. But there is now a second option. The Wi-Fi Alliance is now certifying Wi-Fi Direct divices. These can connect without a Wi-Fi access point. While PCs can already use peer 2 peer, this is not always available for smaller devices. I suppose it takes away the complexity of setting everything up.

Is that an Ipod in the advert? I doubt they will let you transfer files with Wi-fi... or is there an app for that?
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
