A tad slow at the moment!

It was the same here around that time. I had just done my first speed test with the new router I was trying out for other reasons. Thought I had messed things up. As you say, it recovered quickly.

It reminds me of the time when I was on a speedtouch 330 modem and upgraded my firewall software. After a restart, I could not get an internet connection. And it was not solved by a system restore either. Turned out that between my downloading the firewall and installing it, that big ship had cut through the transatlantic internet trunk cable taking the whole internet with it. Remember that one?

Post a tracert instead of a ping.
