Hi Guys,

Sort of Apple related but not essentially MAC but wanted to add @idnet.com to my MobileMe mail.

I've managed to add it but messages sent to my idnet email account do not show.

Is the MobileMe account able to fetch these emails?

Thanks for helping if you can. :)
Vrooooooooooom........oh wait. Whats happened?

Steve

Mobile Me for mail as far as I am aware only works on @me.com addresses, if you want it all in sync, forward @idnet.com to @me.com. This works for all mail originating outside IDNet but for some reason mail coming from an @idnet.com address I can't seem to forward.

Mobile Me will also keep various preferences in sync across several Apple devices i.e mail accounts and settings  ( but not the mail),safari bookmarks etc.

Perhaps we're trying to do a different thing but if you log in to your IDNet customer portal and go to your existing email addresses , then create a rule i.e mail to you@ident.com forward to you@me.com

Thanks, Steve. You were spot on! I was trying to do via MobileMe web not via Idnet web.

Thanks for your help!

Now i need to decide weather to convert this trial  :-\

I find email aliases are useful as temporary addresses,if you got more than one Apple computer or phone everything is sync, I also use the gallery and iDisk functions, plus you can also find your iPhone if you've forgotten where you left it. ;)
