Hi guys is there a cease charge by BT if u leave an adsl provider to a full llu package and is there a charge to cease the phone line also ?

The change would be from idnet to xilo on a cpw tail

Thanks in advance

Rik

There can be, BT do raise one, it's up to the ISP whether they pass it on. I'm afraid I don't know IDNet's policy in this area.

FRom Xilo's own site

" a fee is payable depending on which product you migrate to; £11.00 for BT IPStream and £40.00 for LLU. Fee added at checkout."

Cheers Rik i found this from BTwholesale...
A cease charge will not be raised in the following circumstances:
· The End User line has been migrated to an LLU operator (either SMPF or MPF)
using the published migration process.

Thanks for that - handy to know. If you come across any more gems in there, please report back. ;)

There is an inbound charge to pay for the engineers work as your connection gets lifted from the BT kit to the LLU providers system.

There is no charge to migrate to full Opal LLU with Murphx partners (Xilo is using Murphx).

But they also offer shared LLU services where there is a charge, services at your exchange governs what is available .
