>> Scanit browser crash test <<

This utility attempts to crash your browser by attempting to load known vulnerabilities, if you run all available tests your AV system "should" react to one of the tests.

This is a really good check of your system.

Steve

I ran the browser check on Safari 5.0.2 and Mac OS X 10.6.5 , it passed.

Yes, I have used the Scanit checks for years and they are excellent. Well worth running from time to time. There was also a set of tests on the Finjan security site though they were withdrawn quite a while ago, probably because they were extremely scary and definitely not for anyone of nervous disposition.

Well I passed the "quicktime overflow" test easily. No quicktime! :D

Rik

Oddly enough, Secunia flags that as a risk with no solution.
