I was connected to the provider Localphone.com
All has earned at once, I can call. But again I have a problem.: approximately after 15-20 seconds of talking there is a talking breakage. I have checked up on many numbers, the problem is available on all calls. I have written to technical support, I will wait the answer. Who can here at a forum that will prompt to me? Thanks!

In that case, I'm running out of ideas. Lets see what the localphone support suggest.

I don't know, but I would think it would be something to do with sipnet. Does your account allow international calls?

Probably because BT 2700HGV has the dial plan:

"[2-9]XXXXXX|0[12]XXXXXXXX.T|0[12]XXXXXXXXX|0[346]|07XXXXXXXXX.T|08XXXXXX.T|08XXXXXXXXX|09XXXXXXXXX|09XXXXXXXX.T|00X.T|1XX.T|100|123|1247|142XX|149X|141XXXXXXXXXXX|153|155|1571|180XX|192|195|*XX*|*XX#|#XX*|#XX#|*#XX*|*#XX#|*XXX*|*XXX#|#XXX*|#XXX#|*#XXX*|*#XXX#|999|112|1470XXXXXXXXXXX|1471|1474|1475|**[5-9]|**[1-4]X|0500XXXXXX|05XXXXXXXXX|05XXXXXXXXX.T"

My VOIP on 2700HGV V6 firmware only can use SIPgate and SIPPHONE which fit those dial plan.

How you have learnt that in 2700HGV such dial plan? As though it to change? I have not understood in these figures - that they mean? At me firmware 5.29. 107.12

It is inside the Firmware, try open the firmware using Wordpad and do a search, you will found it.
You can refer to the linksys voip device dial plan for their means.
Eg.  |[2-9]XXXXXX| if the dialed number start with 2 to 9, then after the 7th number is keyed in, the dialed telephone number will send out immediately.

Bazru

Dear! Gnix62 ! I not well understand in it, it is possible to write in detail as I can make it? I should open what file with Wordpad?
I can correct it?

MisterW

What Gnix is saying is that you can see the dial plan by looking at the firmware file ( the file you used to flash the modem ) with Wordpad. You can not change it though!.

Bazru

Yes, I have found this file and have looked at it
But how I can change this dial plan?
Help friends!

Rik

As I understand it, you can't.

But after all it is possible to make changes in firmware, here at  forum there are such experts?

Rik

You can change versions of firmware, but I don't think anyone has ever edited one, thus creating a custom firmware.

QuoteBut after all it is possible to make changes in firmware,
Even if you could change it, the firmware will have a sumcheck which will no longer be correct and thus the firmware will not load.

Bazru

I need to correct firmware, i.e. to change dial plan. Who can help me?

Rik

As MisterW says, if you change it, it will not load. You'd need to write firmware from scratch, or find someone who can do it for you.

I honestly think what you are asking is above the scope and the free time of most folk on this forum, myself included.

IMHO your best bet would be to get hold of a cheap ATA and plug it into the 2Wire. That's what I did until I purchased my Siemens A580IP VOIP & Landline DECT phone.

Bazru

Sorry, and what such ATA?

Thanks for posting the meaning of ATA, Rik.

Ebay has quite a few PAP2 ATA's, which will give two separate phone lines on your internet connection. They connect to your 2700 via ethernet cable. Try a Google. There is lots of configuration information available via Google for them.

Make sure that you don't get one which has been previously provisioned for a provider such as Vonage. (Ask the seller before bidding). The pre-provisioned ATA's which have not been unlocked correctly will revert to their original (eg. Vonage) settings in the event of a factory reset and will then become much harder to unlock.

I do not want in addition anything to buy, it is necessary to find the decision for my variant. The question is opened - who can help to change dial plan?

Lance

Unfortunately no one here is able to help as we do not have the ability to change the firmware.

Then I respectfully suggest that you try to find a forum that deals with firmware modification. As indicated above it is a task that would require specialist knowledge and as Lance has said there doesn't seem to be anyone here with that depth of disassembly and programming skill.
