As a Linux virgin how do I configure the wireless on Mint?

I booted the laptop, a Dell Mini 9, it said it had connected to my router but after 1 - 2 minutes it asks for the wireless key, I enter that, but it just keeps on asking for it. Any ideas?

It's not the keyring password is it.

What's that, Steve?

It asks for Passwords or encryption keys to access the wireless network. I select WPA & WPA2 Personal then enter the encryption key.

Looks like the standard install needs a wireless driver adding. http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/linux/23675-guide-install-linux-mint-debian.html I'll give it a go.

All I know is that sometimes you have to wrap a windows driver if it's Linux unsupported card, hopefully an update via ethernet might solve the issue.
