Is it possible to disable BTFusion on 2700s with V6 firmware?  I know you could on those with V5 but I can't see any obvious way of doing it on my V6.

At present I've simply disabled SSID broadcast and put in a strong custom PSK, but I'd prefer to disable it altogether if possible.

Untick the "Enable this SSID" box located just below the "SSID Broadcast" box.

See: http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/063.htm  about two thirds of the way down the page.

Done that but AFAIK that disables the broadcast SSID - it doesn't actually switch off the signal.  I suspect it's the best you can do, but was wondering what would happen if the 2700 was in bridge mode.

on page http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=BT_FUSION, if you enable SSID Broadcast: and disable Enable this SSID:, and select channel 13 the service is not visible even to Netstumbler, so I assume that the  Enable this SSID: tick box actually does switch it off.

Thanks Alan, it would seem you're right.  I've tried unchecking both which also seems to do the job.  The 2700 I have was set to channel 13 as default for Fusion and AFAICT you can't change it.  The standard 11g wireless can be set to auto or whatever you want.
