Has anyone played this game, if so what are your opinions?

I bought it via Steam. It's okay but I finished it and haven't played it since. I did have two skirmish games, but it's just too bland for my RTS tastes.

I've just bought the DLC for supreme commander (overpriced at £6 but hey ho) and it made the game much harder! I spent SIX hours against 7 AI, one of which was set to turtle and the bugger had laid out it's base so well I had to systematically take out each base and resource all the way around the map whilst balancing my defence. I had to create a LOT of turrets to stop aerial attacks which left me with only a few units to attack the enemy.

In RUSE you don't get that. Just create long range weapons and troops hidden in forests, with anti air units hidden in there too and you're generally sorted. Although in the single player, there is one map that is INSANELY difficult. I'd say buy it, but in a sale.

Yeah the steam sale is on at the moment. I think it lasts for another 7 hours. WELL worth £2.50 as you get about 30 hours play out of it.
