That is not good, tried to add some javascript in a "code " box and it enters it as one very long line which breaks out of the forum width.

Gary

Had an odd freeze just now while typing a private message seemed like everything froze till I refreshed the page after coping my text first of course.

Which defeats the object of the code box somewhat, it certainly should not happen, whether it is an SMF oddity or a template error is another issue.

I noticed just now the forum is loading slower as well, Rik. Pesky servers.

Given the very much out of date Mysql db we have it is surprising that anything works at all. The changes Zap has made so far have certainly made response times better, page load times have dropped quite a bit for the same number of queries.

Pass. I suspect SMF, but Zap would know.

This is a very, very long line mwuhahahaha I'd sack me if I wrote a line this long — unless it was a really, really good line and full of loveliness and other lovely stuff, including but not limited to a herring of destiny, a kipper of fate, a halibut of damnation,
or indeed other lovely, wonderous or otherwise awesome fish.

Hmm, that causes the code box itself to scroll but is as I'd expect, with the second line on the, ah, uh, second line...

I've noticed some oddities with the code tags in the past. Things appear to occasionally get parsed that shouldn't or perhaps it's simply the content within the tags is not being formatted correctly. I'll certainly take a look at it :)

There is a huge gap on the left now, just right of the user name. Looks a bit odd.

Screenshot?

I see no template/style changes in the 3 browsers I tried.

zappaDPJ

Interestingly enough the user details area is fluid (expands depending on screen resolution). I've actually never noticed that before, I'm not sure if it was always like that or not but I'll find out.

Yes, that. I don't think it was. It looks odd.

I've check it on a test board which is still running the previous software version. It was there before and fluid. Could it be that you are viewing on a bigger monitor esh?

The board width is set to Auto, to fill all sizes and shapes of monitors.

Otherwise, you would have large side borders when viewing on a widescreen monitor.

I am almost certain, not that I keep screenshots of forums around, because I immediately noticed it before I even saw the forum had been upgraded. It's probably my choice of browser or settings. I just think it looks weird, anyway. Not really a problem.

Nothings changed for me, I expanded the screen to fit my iMac and it looks the same

zappaDPJ

The user panel is set fluid (auto) with the addition of a max width setting. So it's a container within a container both set to fluid which is possibly a feature of this particular forum theme.

Is this just a one-off, Gary? Is your computer's clock correct?

If the problem is persistent I can make a settings adjustment. I'd like to be sure that's it's not a one off first :)

The computer clock is spot on Rik, I have seen this twice now, never seen it before  :dunno: If it happens again I'll let you know.

Any chance you did an inadvertent double-click on the post button, Gary? We have nothing showing in the logs, and no-one else has reported the problem.

No I do not belive so, Rik, but it may be possible of course, I do take my pain meds in the morning. I logged in, went straight to the post to reply to Simon and it just said the 5 second thing  :dunno: Ill try a double hit to see if it causes it now
