Sorry, I only ever seem to come here when I've got a problem.

Does anyone know if there's an alternative username  to the <user>@idnet.dsl4 format?

I've just kind of accidentally reset my router... lost my settings, then realised I can't reconnect. After moving house recently my <user>@idnet.dsl4 username I had didn't work for some reason. Support gave me a slightly different version which worked fine.  I remember thinking I should write that down somewhere safe... I can't find it.

Does anyone know what it might be?

Much thanks!

Simon

I think you might need to contact IDNet for that one, but <user> is usually your name, or the landline number the account is registered with.

Of course forgotten username form. Thanks!   For some reason I thought I was still officially down as dsl4 and I'd been given a weird temporary workaround, seemed like that at the time.  But I'm now idnet.gw6

Thanks everyone for your help.
