Loads straight away for me, which dns are you using? I've got Idnet as primary and Norton as secondary.

It's not a DNS issue. The page starts loading but times out when it attempts to connect to bits.wikimedia.org (I think that's the bit responsible for the donations message you see at the top of each page unless you've closed it)

I've tried IDNet,OpenDNS, Norton and Google DNS with Safari but the only time I can get through is on FF but it's not consistent and doesn't seem to matter which DNS I'm using.

Working at light speed for me, the page was instant. Perhaps I have it cached.

[EDIT] Navigating around the site it is remarkably fast to such an extent I wonder if they have upgraded their infrastructure which might have caused the issues?
