Please use this thread to report any bugs or changes in forum functionality that have occurred since the maintenance period. We are aware that forum avatars are no longer being displayed. The files exist but are not loading probably due to an indexing problem. Although this is being investigated, there's no ETA on a fix. You might want to consider uploading you avatar again or alternatively, pm me and I will try and locate the file for you. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Rik

Pics under usernames, Baz, some went walkies. We still have the files, but they are not linking properly to profiles for some people.

Trust me, we are poking with great endeavour. ;)

Nope, cleared everything, still the same, Dorset's avatar is doing the same. I had to change mine, it was going mental.

OK, I think it's me. I put Mandriva 2010.2 on a spare hard drive this morning and just swapped back to the one with Mint on it, and it's fine.
I'll try downloading the generic version instead of the distro included version. It does sometimes break with updates, and it was updated earlier.

Ho Hum!

Yeah, soon as I saw it was ok in chromium I thought it was a FF issue, strange coincidence though!  ::)

Just got back and swapped to the Mandriva disc, downloaded FF from Mozilla and it works properly, no smileys or avatars flashing off and on. Maybe it's just me but I find more often than not, FF updates break the program. Recently I had an update that refused to let me copy and paste. It doesn't seem to matter if it's distribution specific or the generic .bz2 version.

BLOODY UPDATES!  :rant2:
