I entered it and it said it was ready. Below in blue it said it was unavailable and to choose another one, yet I can log into the webmail for the addy.

Do I have the addy or not? lol

If it shows under the "Requested Email Addresses:" bit at the top of the page, with the status ready, then I would say its yours. Especially as you can log on to it!

Maybe you accidentally double clicked? The first click allocating it to you and the second click trying to do it again, resulting with the unavailable message.
