I wonder if BT have mended something as those now look fine.

I am still getting capped at 1000kbps, and my IP profile says 1000kbps, but from what I have gathered that will take a little time to change anyway?

Steve

It will take time, but since your now syncing so much higher than before an initial improvement should occur quite soon. If it's still the same tomorrow ask support to give BT a nudge.

You're not capped, not in the conventionally used sense of the word. Your sync speed has dropped to a level that only gives you a 1M profile, and this limits your throughput. Given the level of change, it should correct in a few hours. Either your faceplate was an issue or it happens to have coincided with some BT work. :)

Well while I was connected directly to the master socket (Or what ever its called) I was still get the bum figures, but when I went back to normal it seemed to have sorted, so I have no idea what was going on! Either way I just hope my good old speeds come back, was a nightmare not being able to download, or worse, downloading but having it draining all my bandwidth so it was impossible to do anything else!

Will let you know what happens.
Thanks!
