Extra Bandwidth info...

Hey all

Ive just decided to try this "metaboli" thing, (where u stream games for a monthly fee...instead of buying them!) - therefore, with all these GB's flowing away...i may need info on extra bandwidth charges (if i get hooked!)

"***Additional bandwidth is charged at £1 per GB (including VAT)."

I cant remember, but is it download AND upload? - and, is there a "cap" as to how much extra you use? or is it simply, a bigger bill?

So let me get this right... Uploading doesn't count towards your monthly limit?

As i thought it did and being a web designer and always transfering files, this will be a good thing

Absolutely right. Uploads do not count at all towards your allowence, whether its 10mb or 10gb there is no charge.

Even though how good PHP is i will draw the line at using it in my names since i use it nearly everywhere else everyday

We all know that uploads don't count towards bandwidth, but we have always been stuck for where it's stated on the IDNet website.

The answer is that now, if you scroll down to the bottom of the packages list, you will see a footonote, which reads:

"***Additional downloads are charged at £1 per GB (including VAT). Uploads are unlimited."
