Have spent all of this afternoon offline with the DSL light on my Linksys 120N router constantly flashing trying to make a connection, I turned the router off for the 30minutes but the problem still persists, any ideas? I am in Wiltshire and I believe I am connected to the Swindon exchange after looking it up on my phone.

I've tried to get some stats from my router but its just showing up with blank information, I guess this is due to not actually having a connection.

--- DSL Information ---
DSL Driver Version:
DSL VPI/VCI:         0/38
DSL Status:
DSL Mode:
DSL Channel:         0
DSL Upstream Rate:   0
DSL Downstream Rate: 0

                               Down         up
DSL Noise Margin:         dB           dB
DSL Attenuation:          dB           dB
DSL Transmit Power:     dBm         dBm

Thanks

Glenn

Give support a call and leave a message stating you have no connecton, you should get a call back.

There's nothing being reported for that area, so follow Glenn's advice. Have you got anything else connected to the line?

It appears that it was a problem with the line as there was no dial tone and a lot of noise, internet has been restored but there is still noise and are sending out a line engineer to check the line from the exchange to the house.

Current stats

                               Down         up
DSL Noise Margin:     111 dB        74 dB
DSL Attenuation:      224 dB       401 dB
DSL Transmit Power:  -377 dBm     -423 dBm

Glenn

Thanks for letting us know, hopefully the line will be fixed very soon.  :fingers:
