I noticed it this morning, it wasn't there on Wednesday...

They've alse broke a bit of it- if I try to run it using Opera it says I haven't got Java installed! Oh yes I have

It's OK on Safari though.

Who's idea was it to roll out an update on the weekend when no one is in the office to fix any problems?

Perhaps they thought a Sunday was quiet so not too many users putting a strain on the system?

Also a failure on IE (don't know which version)... but the other user is also on FTTC, no reports yet of failure on non-FTTC connections.

Odd, I can't believe even BT would break it on the most common browser around!!

Didn't it only work with IE in its early days? BT are probably testing with IE6 for that matter.

Another failure (all these are in the Fibre forum on tbb) with Chrome... all on FTTC.

But it still works for me with Safari

At least it gives a bit of variety... on my Mac:

Opera- complains there's no Java and fails if you try to run the test.
Camino- complains there's no Java but successfully completes the speedtest.
Safari- runs with nary a problem.

Go figure

I've tried to use the new and improved BT speed test site a number of times this week to log low throughput. The only result I got back was an error.

As if by magic, now my throughput is running at full tilt it completes the test
