Let me get this clear. When you click on a link, you get an 'application not found' error? The only change you have made is to remove Chrome? Is IE set as your default browser?

Forcing IE to make itself default may fix the issue.

If it doesn't ask when you start it go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab and click Make Default.

If that does not work let me know and I'll have a look on a Windows 7 machine when am at work later unless Dorset beats me to it of course!

David

Yippee thank you  :thumb: Im assuming (dont laugh now) that it was because I had been typing in the browser bar ! dont ask me my logic  ;D

Had a similar problem with... I forget what it was now. Something really obscure like emails. But windows was all "set the default" "choose the one you want" but would not do anything.  :dunno:
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
