Hey guys been a while since I been on here, just wondering can you sign up to business packages for home use or is that not allowed?

Has much changed in last few months I.e. Package pricing, allowances and performance etc?

Rik

You can, I'm on one. :)

No price or allowance changes, performance has been good between BT foul ups.

Cool  :) I was just looking at that lowest business package and thought that would be ideal for me for gaming as it has traffic priority and lowest latency guarenteed

Oh hang on I didnt notice traffic priority is 10 extra

Rik

Wouldn't Home Super Pro/Super Max give you the same result. Remember business packages are displayed ex-VAT.

Yeah goddam government makes me mad

Is it still normal process to get mac code from current supplier or can I place an order and idnet do re rest for me?

Rik

You need to request the MAC and give that to IDNet.

If you do not have a congested exchange, you may not need priority.
As IDNet manage their network (virtual I guess) very well, there is near zero ping spikes even in the evening. I have no trouble with games.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Happy Surfer

I didn't have any spiking before when I had idnet but I wasn't getting maximum connections in gaming ever, can get alot of congestion sometimes here too so traffic priority helps as it has done on my current plusnet pro gaming package
