Will there ever be a "tough" phone?

They just broke another "tough" and "hardened" phone on breakfast TV when testing how well it performed.
No video up yet, but here is an older failure to review such a phone...

So why do they make these claims? Perhaps just "water proof" is enough. Putting "smash, crash and bomb proof" on the front is asking for trouble!
However the gadget shows reviews are usually quite good. They can find a phone or camera that can survive quite a lot of abuse.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

It's when we use to break the banks safe that we stared to worry...  :whistle:
