Glad you like it, David. The thing I love about BlackBerrys is that they just work!  :thumb:

Like Macs, you mean?

They do Simon, but they are more email-business orientated, I never check my emails that often, I have gone back to being old fashioned and calling people  ;D

Sadly, Blackberrys don't just work. 'WiFi' BIS connections can be a bit hit and miss depending on the make and model of router being used. My BB9700 worked flawlessly with my old Netgear DG834G and the DGN3300 but not the DGN1000. There are a myriad of forums on the subject. WiFi will connect but often the WiFI icon remains 'greyed out' showing that a BIS WiFi connection has not been established. If you just want WiFi browser access then there is a workaround. Apart from that and the odd memory leak, and battery drain, I would not be without my BB.

I had the touchscreen Storm, and loved it, but unfortunately, they apparently won't accept the new 6.0 OS.  I don't think I could manage the keyboard on the Curve / Bold ranges, but admittedly, haven't tried one.

The Storm would be an older operating system, David, so a step backwards.

Just seen the Torxch on P&G, £459  :eek4: whereas the 9300 is £179

The curve will run BB 6 so won't be on an old OS, when I know whats happening with work I'll put an order in.

I think a lot of people are thinking like that now Mitch, new gadgets are great but its a case of whats happening with personal finance and the economy and how now its April the cuts will really feel  :( I'll not be purchasing anything new for fun for a while, unless its broken.

How did you break it Simon?

Simon

I got annoyed with it and threw it, Mitch.  Unfortunately, something hard was in it's trajectory.  :red:
