Correct, the latest facebook app update sucks.

Forget about using it on a 3G connection as 8 times out of 10 it will just tell you that you don't have an internet connection & then crash.

No issues with it at all here, its odd how it hits some users and not others, mine works fine over v2G 3G and wifi, still has bugs like taking you to the wrong photo comment etc but its done that on all versions I have used.
