Reports that the predicted Time Capsule upgrade may include a A4/A5 processor allowing it run IOS like the Apple TV, this could allow it to act as a local cache for iCloud. I guess we'll find out next week.

To much Apple hardware, and to many chances of Foxconn QC issues for my liking, Apple QC is not what it was and that's a real issue for me right now
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

I think it's difficult to condem any company from ones own personal experiences, I'm not wearing rose tinted spectacles but I've got 9 pieces of Apple hardware and I have not had a hardware  issue with any of them.

If im using a WD Book for time machine what benefits would i gain from having a time capsual.

I'm no fan boy but i'd like to think the more stuff i own thats apple the better they will play together?

And feedback would be ace.  :)
Vrooooooooooom........oh wait. Whats happened?

They are certainly more suited to a wifi laptop imo as the backups are hourly plus your get dual band wifi and a router thrown in. I think the new releases will offer some integration with iCloud i.e a local cache for data and perhaps software updates for multiple machines. On my static machines I use firewire to HDD I don't see any reason yet for a time capsule for these.
