line drops

quick question on this.Ive had a few recently and one about 5 mins ago while making a phone call.

is this a possible cause and would it make any difference if the call was to a land line,which this was, or to a mobile,which I tried 5mins after connection came back up and it did not drop during the call.

It shouldn't make any difference it uses the same line to the exchange Baz, try calling your number and see if the connection drops.
