Hi,

I am currently on a BT Line rental, with voipfone as a phone service (Via CPS):
- Could I consider moving just the line rental to IDNet ?
- Would I keep the equivalent of 1280 to drop back on BT or IDNet base phone service would I need it ?

Thanks

JM

You would think, right?

Well, the CPS voifone said `No, you need to pay BT line rental`. I think this is a bit against the whole idea of CPS, right ?

Its still a BT line so I can't see how it would matter. Support will be able to give a much more certain answer if you give them a quick call.

As far as I'm aware, the only thing that changes is where the bill comes from and costs.

Ok, so it should not be technical, and we all agree.... So is there some commercial limitation to what can be done via CPS? Is that the sign of yet another BT monopoly?

What Vodafone are telling you is complete rubbish., you can use a BT Wholesale based service on a CPS line.
