Up for 372 hours before my first FTTC connection drop...

Bad ?

How does that work for others ?

I am using my trusted Draytek 2820 router. ADSL stay up for months on my ADSL2+ connection before...

Just curious really...

The only problem I have had so far is the vDSL modem failing.

I went 4 months before mine first dropped... still not sure why it happened.

How did you determine it was the vDSL Modem and not something else?

Okay, sort of joking. Busted network equipment can get very very hot.

I rebooted only the modem, everything worked fine for 5 minutes then failed again with a flashing dsl LED. Support are now advising users to connect a PC/laptop direct to the modem, then try making a connection. http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,25638.msg610427.html#msg610427.

Right.. so you fried it? that's no good....

Mine is still nice and cool it seems.... :P Let's hope I am not heading the same way..
