Indeed. I'll put a call in now and ask for normal service to be resumed.  >:D

Same here.  January this year profile was 4000 Kbps with download speed around 3500, it has gradually crept up to

   B T Speedtester                        12/07/11
Download speedachieved during the test was - 5402 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :7264 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6000 Kbps

:fingers: it stays that way.

Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them.

My profile has dropped from between 7000 and 7600 to 6218kbps and I have tried powering down the router at different times but can not get it back up.  :eyebrow:

My noise margin has always been about 5dB but now its 9dB has this any thing to do with my loss of sinc

That's correct Den,if  you can maintain sync for 14 days (I think it's still 14 on adslmax) you should hopefully see your margin drop back to 6 and the downstream sync increase. You've had some noise/instability and the exchange has responded by increasing your margin. You can monitor the noise variation using routerstats but the key is to maintain sync.
