As it's widescreen too, you could have 4 forum windows open. Um, I mean spread sheets to do work in...

Like a mini version of my setup at work.

Your office has two windows?

That would look awesome for about 45 minutes until the battery ran out

That's why I love them. They are not "laptops" they are "portable computers". They are for those who work away from home, but have an access to a power socket. You would be surprised how many businesses actually find them useful. In fact, can you point out many working jobs where even a 8 hour laptop battery would be enough to work from? So if even the small laptops need an outlet, why worry with the big laptop? You can still fold it, put it in the bag, put it in the car or take it on the train. But you get to take your movie directing, CAD design or Oil survey data with you. :)

If someone would build a lap top with a rotatable screen so I can view documents in portrait, that would be helpfull. The move to wide screen has been a great scam. It forced a move to 17" laptops to get a working screen height the same as 15". And don't get me on about gloss screens that mean I have to work under a sheet when there are windows or office lights, though you can see if you are being watched or if the boss in coming. :rant2:

Technical Ben

Well the likes of the Thinkpad do rotate for tablet usage. Then you can use it portrait. :)
Besides they still do a lot of non wide screen laptops. Although those Sony super widescreen ones are pointless IMO.
As to the glare, even HP does matt finish screens in some of their models I think.

Most Dell & HP Business models are spec'd with matt screens

Bit of a strange one this. You'd think it'd have usb3 and a better graphics card considering its powering two screens.
