Have just set up dual ssid router with this firmware Qwest QT04-6.1.5.48.2 .

Followed instructions on Tripods website and seems to be running a little faster and my snr on download seems to have 2-3 db not a great deal anyway.

A much better user interface and easy to set up, have got iPhone,iPad,Mac laptop and pc all running happily.

My line is very long and I am on a fixed 2mb line all seems OK at present, pages on the internet appear to load very quick or so it seems.

I also have a BT Business Hub. My hub is a dual SSID model. I have in the past flashed it with the Qwest firmware but I have now gone back to the BT firmware as it provides a lot more information about your connection. I am currently testing a Netgear DGN2000 and I will shortly be posting some thoughts in the Netgear section.

Interesting. I thought I had read the quest firmware is a one way move as there wasn't a way to go back to the BT firmware after.

You can go back. You just type yourip/upgrade on the Qwest firmware and you can upload the BT firmware. Trust me it works :).

It's probably fine, but I have to just emphasise that anyone who uses the link above, does so at entirely their own risk, and that the forum staff and owners cannot and do not accept responsibility for the content and accuracy of external websites.
