If anyone is interested my Desire S is now up for sale on Amazon (pctech)

I've nearly dropped the thing so many times (but it never actually has dropped), its just too wide for me, gone back to my trusty no nonsense Nokia 6700 classic which I can use single handed until such time as I can find something suitable.

Simon

That's a shame.  I think all full touchscreen phones are subject to being dropped, as one is subconciously not wanting to touch the screen accidentally, so you don't tend to hold it like you do other phones.  I've dropped my 3GS a couple of times, but luckily indoors, onto carpet, so it bounced.  ;D

but if you are as clumsy as I am, it'll probably get dropped on tarmac sooner or later.

I am considering an iPhone but will go to an Apple store to try holding one before I buy.

Lance

I've found the iphone 4 less drop-able than the 3gs, mostly because of the square edges.

That's my thoughts looking at it, will pop along to the Apple Store when I have some spare dosh again.

Simon

Are you sure you'll be able to bring yourself to go in, Mitch?  ;)

Yes, just need to drink a few Double Espressos before I do, luckily there's a Starbucks quite close.

Although, it's getting a bit chilly in places for shorts now.

I use an 'Incase' slider case on the 3GS . The phone's been dropped many times even on concrete and it's survived so far.

Post a spec, Steve and we'll start the bidding.

Or depending on what we see, confirming how much you would need to pay us!
