I can remember, many years ago when working for the GPO, the routes of trunk lines were considered State secrets. I wonder if that still applies?

On an old port, some electrical work was being done. The plans and drafts must have been very old, as the guy with the jack hammer soon found out where the mains cable was. Thankfully he was ok, but lost the entire chisel off the end of the jack. :O
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Not the photograph, but the overlay of the communications wires. I'm no expert, but would those in charge be happy that the world and his dog know how to cut comms/intercept comms?

it wouldnt matter if they cut it or tried to intercept the comms, anything that is sent securey cant be heard unless you have the right equipment on the other side to decode it(we call it the batphone, yes it is red)all you would hear is white noise/static
but i will remove it if it make you all feel better

woppy101

can one of the mods remove the pic and relplace it with this one  ;D
that should keep them busy digging for a while

Technical Ben

That's more of what we expect from BT. ;)
