I did watch The Social Network but the actor playing Zuckerberg spoke so quick I had difficulty understanding what he was saying.

But I got the main point that has been explained elsewhere, he was an arrogant little t***

I watched a couple of Jobs' keynote speeches on Youtube, one from 1998 as he was still reviving the company and announced the iMac.

He made a comment about Microsoft's investment in Apple which seemed to indicate he was grateful for the assistance.

He also announced that it would be bundled with IE and someone made some comment and he replied 'hey I like IE and use it, I suggest you check it out'

9 years later they are making jokes at Microsoft's expense and he's dismissing developers with comments like 'just change the name, not that big of a deal'

I think the book and the film will demonstrate he became more and more arrogant as time went on.

He was a very astute businessman but I have more respect for Woz TBH as he was the engineering brains.

But I thought Steve Wozniak left Apple full time employment in 1987 , I agree he was the founder but he's been gone 24 years. I'm not sure where Apple would be today without the iPod and MS Windows Vista.

Agreed.

Jonathon Ive has been responsible for the physical design of Apple products since Jobs was back on board and I don't think he gets enough credit for that.

He's been fairly anonymous, whether now these obviously talented people will be allowed to raise their heads above the parapet who knows.

It's good to see a Brit in such a pivotal position in a company such as Apple.

As have said before, I think the products are good but somewhat overpriced over here and found the company's whole attitude which came from the top dreadful, hopefully that will change.

I do own an iPod and have bought music through iTunes I've not been able to get elsewhere.

I've been asking for a couple of years for some proper Mac technical training and it has now been granted so me and several colleagues are going to be attending a course in December which I am really looking forward to.

I was looking the other day at the price of Applecare OS support and I was shocked at the cost, although it is a fairly comprehensive business orientated support package. Saying that I've no idea what MS would charge either.

The top package is a cool 41 grand. I'd laugh if it came via UPS in the same box as my Applecare has done.

Our IT staff at work (the ones I have to go to if I can't get into the network etc) all wear purple t-shirts.

There was talk of us having to wear them too, I've no issue with a uniform but after having to wear a purple school jumper and tie for 4 years, I have an issue with purple.

I had a moment of madness at 0845 on the 7/10 so it should be here this Friday or there about . I see the 24 hour pre sale figures are above the iPhone 4 level. Also I think I've found a home for the 3GS.

I thought less £100 -150 especially as the new 8GB 3GS is now £319.

Edit O2 recycle will give me £120 unseen.
