Anyone else seeing slow speeds tonight?

I have a nice 8128000 sync, which is usual for this line, but downloads wont go above around 200k/sec.
Tried from several locations on different networks, and even youtube is slow.
Traces during the download are a bit higher, but not bad considering the download.

You need to do a BT speedtest to reveal your profile. I suspect its low but will recover soon.

QuoteDownload speed achieved during the test was - 1884 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 800-2000 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :8128 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 832 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2000 Kbps

:(
Is there anything support can do to fix that? That is really bad profile :(
I dropped support a mail just in case, I'd like to find out what caused it tho, as until recently its been full on 8mb.

You've had some line instability that's dropped your profile, keep an eye on your connection to make sure it's not still happening. If your connection is stable your profile will rise over the next few days, occasionally the profile gets stuck and support can sort that out with BT

Well appears I have a stuck profile, according to the system on IDnet's side i'm on a 7000 or so profile, but the BT tester still says 2000.
Support have therefore done a reset of the line, and now we have to wait 72 hours to see if it goes back up to normal.  :fingers:
