Weird noise issue

My noise margin is always around 9 (ish) in the evening but as soon as the phone is used, the noise margin drops to around -5.

The connection doesn't drop but I can't load anything online, as soon as the phone is not in use the noise margin goes back to normal and everything loads.

Its like someone pressing the pause button on my connection 

I've tried new filters, its a new wireless phone, about 6 months old and had no issues with it until this weekend.

Any ideas?

We usually blame the filters but phone line faults can cause a similar issue.
