Oh, to be an American patent lawyer.  Talk about made for life!

Wow. How about, you know FENCE BOLTS!?!?!?!

Anyhow. This is why my phone unlocks, calls the local Chines (or my friends) runs up 10 mins of call time (that I pay for) and then turns it's self off so I miss that important call.

Because it's "push to unlock" and a TOUCH SCREEN, everything is a touch! So only Apple are allowed to make working phones now?!
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Guys did I forget to tell you.. I'd patented the words "made for life" and "fence bolts"

You can send a cheque to...  ;D

But yeah it's really getting a bit silly now.

What next, door handles, plug sockets and light switches?

Tommy Flowers should have patented all of his work designing and constructing Colossus during WW2. One of his inventions, the clock pulse generator, is used in every computerised device today.

Personally I think lawyers should be imprisoned for filing frivilous lawsuits. Maybe no one would take up the offer from giant companies then, until they've actually got proof. When one company is found guilty, fine them an immense amount of money, give it all to charity. That should force them to consider stealing each others work/ideas/patents, if they were in actual fact doing that in the first place.

Or just leave me in a room with them tied to a chair, and some pliers. Either way.
