Just had another blip - same as last night, but only lasted about 5 seconds.

Nothing here. I'm still working tonight over VPN to the office and that normally kicks up a fuss the second it disconnects.

I think I lost mine for a short while during the iPhone upgrade as well. The router light just went off for about five seconds, then came back on again.

Anyone else just lost routing for 5 mins? Plus  just again for 30 secs?

Yeah just had the same issue here. Thank god it's not my equipment or line. ;) Have a live radio show at 6pm and hoping there are no more problems today..

JB

Same issue here as well.

Just noticed it here. I put it down to BT work (3 vans in town, either for Coffee, or wiring a shop up). But if others had it too, I guess it's routing/ISP related not exchange/town related.

I'm sure IDNet are keeping on top of any work needing to be done, or are fixing any issues. Just posting here to assure others that they are not alone, and there is no need to chuck the router out the window just yet.  ;D
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

I just (maybe 10 minutes ago) had a period where half the websites I wanted to access just timed out. Seems back to normal now.

Steve

Is it just me who's seeing some prolonged lags in the internet this afternoon? In fact posting this required a couple of attempts.

Rik

The net generally has been OK, Steve, but the forum's been sluggish periodically.

Simon

Periodically, I've had a lag with the forum initially loading, but once it's there, it's been OK.

Having then just looked at something else it's just taken 5-10 secs to open a new tab for the forum

I just had a ~15 second response after hitting post - though that may have been SMF crying out "How much more can I take?" ;D

You haven't taken upeating too much again Rik, have you? That would explain why the forum is so slow and sluggish.  ;D

I don't seem to be having issues at the moment, I wonder it the Fibre traffic takes a different route out of IDNet's network?

Distinct possibility, Glenn.

I may have solved this for myself by moving from OpenDNS to IDNet DNS servers.

I haven't used the forum much in the last few days, too busy feeling nauseous, but it's running fine for me this afternoon/evening.

Rik

But this morning, disaster. ;)

I was going to post a question here to ask if the forum was down ... but for some reason I could not gain access ! :P
